Participation advice
Complementary Independent Participation Counselling (EUTB in German) offers free nationwide support and counselling (peer counselling) to all persons with disabilities and their relatives on all questions related to rehabilitation and participation. The Frankfurt Foundation for the Blind and Visually Impaired acts as project executing organisation.

Special glasses, magnifying glass or monocular help to see better again

Low Vision Advice Center
The counselling determines how to effectively use the remaining vision with the help of magnifying vision aids and other devices (manufacturer independent). The training provides the participants with information and strategies on how to accomplish the everyday task more easily and to increase their independence and quality of life.

Basic training for the blind
In connection with social rehabilitation measures, the Frankfurt Foundation for the Blind and Visually Impaired offers a basic training (BtG) for German-speaking participants and refugees. The main objective is to provide assistance in coping with the requirements of daily life and to increase participation in social life.
