Who we are

LHON Deutschland e.V. is a non-profit organization with and for people with LHON. The focus of our young association is self-help and raising awareness of LHON.

Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON) is a rare mitochondrial disease characterized by optic nerve dysfunction, which can lead to severe visual impairment in the central field.
