To improve the mobility of blind and severely visually impaired people, RTB develops, produces and sells sophisticated electronics for traffic signal systems. Acoustic auxiliary devices that safely indicate the way across the road are the focus here. With the help of the app LOC.id, acoustics can be made louder. LOC.id can also be used at construction sites, for example, to provide important acoustic information to blind and severely visually impaired people.

LOC.id acts as a key for other applications. This is made possible by the initiative of the DBSV, which has created a network from the fields of public transport, indoor/outdoor navigation, traffic signal systems, construction sites and elevators.
