As part of the event promotion, we publish many different postings on the respective SightCity social media channels.
Participation Post
Automatic exhibitor presentation in the social media
From January of the event year, we will start systematically presenting all exhibitors in our social media. Every day, one exhibitor will be presented in order to optimally promote your participation in SightCity and increase your visibility.
Your comprehensive social media package:
- Customised image posting: Every exhibitor receives a professionally designed image posting that presents your company and your presence at the trade fair.
- Short video/reel in two languages: In most cases, we also create a dynamic short video (reel) in both German and English to present your products and services in the best possible way.
- Story with audio commentary: In addition, we produce a story posting with spoken text that conveys your presentation in a lively and personal way.
- Textual presentation: We create an informative accompanying text that emphasises your most important products and your trade fair presence.
- Reach via our channels: The content is distributed via SightCity’s official social media channels and thus reaches a large, targeted community.
What you need to do:
- Up-to-date company details: Make sure that your company details in the reservation system are complete and up-to-date.
- Website information: The link to your website is essential for the correct creation of your social media content.
- Social media channels: Enter your own social media channels in the reservation system to benefit from additional advantages.
Special advantage: Collaboration mode
If you have entered your social media channels in the reservation system, we can publish your presentation in collaboration mode. This offers you the following advantages:
- You can use the content we create (image postings, reels and stories) directly for your own channels
- The reach of your trade fair presence is significantly increased by cross-posting
- You save time and resources when creating your own content for trade fair participation
- Your company benefits from professional content creation by our SightCity team
Schedule and procedure
The postings will be published continuously from January 2025. The order of the exhibitor presentations will be determined by the SightCity team. All content will be created on the basis of the information you have stored in the reservation system – no separate input is required.
Important to note
- The quality of your presentation depends directly on the completeness of your data in the reservation system
- The multilingual reels and stories set to music significantly increase the accessibility and reach of your presentation
- Changes to your data can be made at any time, but will not retroactively affect previously published content
- The SightCity team will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the optimal presentation of your company

Lecture mail: Comprehensive promotion of your specialised lectures
As an exhibitor with a booked presentation slot, you benefit from professional promotion of your presentation via all our communication channels. Our two-stage concept maximises attention for your presentation – both before and after the event.
Phase 1: Lecture announcement
As soon as you have booked a lecture slot and entered your lecture information in the reservation system, we automatically create the following content:
- Event entry on LinkedIn and Facebook: Your presentation will be created as an official event with all the relevant information, allowing interested parties to plan their participation directly.
- Image posting on all channels: A professionally designed image posting advertises your presentation with the topic, time and access data.
- Short video/reel: For maximum attention, we also create a short video that is played on all social media platforms.
- Integration on your exhibitor page: All presentation information is placed prominently on your personal exhibitor page.
- Access data communication: All necessary information for participation is provided clearly and concisely.
Phase 2: Follow-up and recording promotion
After your presentation, we will continue the application process seamlessly:
- Automatic recording: If you have not deactivated it, your presentation will be recorded automatically.

We also offer the collaboration mode for lecture postings:
- You can share all the lecture announcements and recording promotions we create directly on your own channels
- The reach of your presentation is significantly increased

Requirements and notes
- Complete lecture data: Make sure that all information about your lecture is stored completely and correctly in the reservation system.
- Recording preferences: Recording is automatic, but can be deactivated by you. Please let us know your preference in good time.
- Approval process: After the event, you will receive the recording for approval. Further distribution will only take place after your approval.
- Social media details: To use the collaboration mode, your social media channels must be stored in the system.

As a SightCity exhibitor, you have the unique opportunity to publish a completely customised post via our high-reach social media channels. This third type of post gives you the creative freedom to present your own content and benefit from our established community.

- Complete freedom of content: You decide which message you want to communicate – be it a product highlight, a company anniversary or another important corporate message.
- Bilingual publication: Your post will automatically appear in both German and English on all our channels – but you only need to provide the text in one language, we will take care of the translation for you.
- Professional labelling: Your contribution will be labelled as an official SightCity exhibitor post, which underlines its seriousness and relevance.
- Flexible choice of date: You can freely choose your preferred date for publication within the calendar year up to 31 December of the event year.
How it works – your checklist:
Simply send an e-mail with the following elements to Dagmar Krutzki(dagmar.krutzki@sightcity.net):
- Posting text: Maximum 250 characters in German OR English (we take care of the translation)
- Medium: Picture post: Preferably in square or 4:5 format for optimal display on all platforms OR video post/reel: Formats .mov, .mp4, .wav
- Alternative text: A precise image description for barrier-free access
- Hashtags: Up to 15 hashtags of your choice for maximum reach
- Preferred date: Your preferred publication date
Our expert advice on choosing a date:
Although you are free to choose your publication date, for strategic reasons we recommend a date after SightCity (from June):
- In the preparation phase of the trade fair (January to May), we publish at least one post a day on exhibitor presentations and lecture applications
- Your customised post receives more attention and interaction after the trade fair
- The post-fair phase is ideal for reflecting on trade fair impressions or placing follow-up topics
Important notes:
- Submission deadline: Please send your data at least 14 days before the desired publication date
- Right of use: By submitting, you confirm that you own the rights to all content
- Advice: Ms Krutzki will be happy to advise you on how to optimise the effectiveness of your post
- Validity period: Your entitlement to an individual post is valid until 31 December of the event year
