Accessibility is an important part of our trade fair. We strive to make your visit to the trade fair barrier-free and enjoyable. Accompanying persons:
The entrance fee of €5 per person per day is the same for everyone, but the number of accompanying persons can simply be entered when registering yourself in order to register them and save the entrance fee for everyone. This also eliminates the need to present a severely disabled person’s pass with the “B” mark.
Our trade fair guides are available for those who want or need support. They are specially trained to meet the needs of the blind and visually impaired. They provide guidance, support communication with exhibitors and help visitors to discover the wide range of products and services on offer at the trade fair. This service is subject to a charge and can be booked on our trade fair guide information page.
Companion dogs:
Guide dogs are very welcome on our exhibition grounds. We understand that these loyal companions are more than just pets – they are valued helpers and companions. We only ask that you keep your assistance dog on a leash during the entire visit and ensure that it behaves calmly to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors to the fair.
The welfare of guide dogs for the blind (e.g. drinking stations) is provided on the first floor near the exit doors.
There is also a small meadow in the immediate vicinity of Cape Europe where the dogs can run free if necessary. For better planning in advance, here is the link to the green area: Unity Square
Wheelchair or scooter rental:
Kap Europa is part of Messe Frankfurt. This offers the possibility of borrowing wheelchairs or scooters from us at reception. The deposit, payable when the wheelchair or scooter is issued, is €50.
To ensure that we can receive sufficient quantities of these in advance from the trade fair in Kap Europa, we ask you to register or make a reservation at info@sightcity.net with the subject “Wheelchair reservation” at least 2 weeks before the start of the event. In return, we will send you the rental form for the trade fair, which you should complete and bring with you when you hand over the wheelchair or scooter.
