How can higher education and the workplace be made more accessible for people with visual impairments—both today and in the future? Learn about ACCESS@KIT, the central point of contact for students with visual impairments at KIT, and discover how service and research go hand in hand. We’ll provide insights into our support services for students and, using the InclusiveVR@Work project (in cooperation with Fraunhofer IOSB), demonstrate how Extended Reality (XR) opens up new avenues for participation in both academic and professional life. Learn how innovative technologies are being applied in practice, what opportunities they offer—and how you can become part of this development yourself.

Dr. Karin Müller

Karin Müller is Deputy Director of the Center for Digital Accessibility and Assistive Technology (ACCESS@KIT) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). In 2002, she received her PhD in Computational Linguistics from the University of Stuttgart.
