How it all began
In 2021 and 2022, things were very different. No exhibition halls, no stands, no chance to try things out in person. And yet, the SightCity community didn’t simply put itself on hold. During those years, something new emerged – exhibitor presentations. Exhibitors took the opportunity to bring their products, innovations and topics directly into the living rooms, offices and on the screens of their target audience. The response was so overwhelming that the question was quickly answered: why on earth would we stop doing this?
Since 2023, SightCity has been back in full swing in Frankfurt – and the exhibitor presentations have remained. Now as a standalone digital format. For anyone who wants to join in, wherever they are.
What the exhibitor presentations are – and what they are not
The exhibitor presentations are organised by the exhibitors themselves, not by SightCity. The content, topics and format are entirely the responsibility of the respective exhibitors. SightCity provides the technical facilities for this – and is delighted that so many exhibitors take advantage of this opportunity year after year to present exciting content.
Each talk will take place via a separate Zoom link. Access is free and no registration is required – simply join the relevant Zoom meeting at the start time.
Please note:
The presentations will generally be recorded. Participants should be aware of this. The recordings will be edited and published in due course on the SightCity website and via social media channels – an opportunity that continues to offer added value even if you were unable to attend in person.
Not just for SightCity
Since 2025, exhibitor presentations have also been held during Vision Week – and this will be the case again in 2026. Exhibitors use this special occasion to highlight key issues relating to vision, assistive technology and inclusion, even outside the official SightCity event dates.
