Welcome to SightCity Frankfurt – the world’s largest trade fair for aids and solutions for the blind and visually impaired. Every year, Kap Europa in Frankfurt am Main becomes an international center for innovation, inclusion and progress. As a hybrid event, SightCity combines digital and on-site formats, providing a first-class platform for experts, those affected and interested parties.
Around 150 international exhibitors will be presenting innovative products, services and technologies that make everyday life easier and open up new perspectives. The exhibition is complemented by the SightCity Forum, which features lectures by leading experts on topics such as medicine, rehabilitation and education. This content is accessible both on-site and digitally, guaranteeing sustainable knowledge transfer.
Another highlight is SightCity TV, which presents exciting innovations and personalities and reaches a broad target group via social media. Interactive workshops and the Gaming Lab round off the program and set the tone for inclusive experiences and barrier-free entertainment.
SightCity stands for innovation, exchange and accessibility. With well-thought-out services and a digital platform, the trade fair is becoming a central meeting place for anyone who wants to find out about the latest developments in the field of visual aids for the blind and partially sighted. Trade Fair
On a surface of about 7,600 square meters, 150 exhibitors present aids and services for blind and visually impaired people. The exhibition extends over four floors in the Kap Europa in Frankfurt am Main.

SightCity Forum
The SightCity Forum offers daily lectures on medicine, rehabilitation and technical innovations. The lectures take place on site and online and are recorded.
Gaming-Lab
An inclusive space for digital and analog gaming. E-sports tournaments and events show how barrier-free entertainment is designed.
Workshops
Hybrid workshops on leisure and further education combine theory and practice. From yoga to IT training – this is where skills are developed and inclusion is put into practice.
SightCity TV
Presenter Saliya Kahawatte presents a TV program featuring innovations, stories and personalities from the trade fair. The format reaches a wide audience via social media.
Presentation dates
During the event, we stream both all presentations given live on a stage at Kap Europa and the exhibitors’ online presentations. The latter can be in both German and English. The streaming platform we use during the event is ZOOM.
A few weeks after SightCity, we will make the recordings of the presentations available on our YouTube channel, provided that the speakers have given their consent. We will also link to the recordings here on the website.
