To improve mobility for blind and visually impaired people, RTB develops electronic solutions for traffic signal systems. The focus is on acoustic add-on devices. With the LOC.id app, signals can be adjusted and used, for example, at construction sites to support orientation and safe guidance.

Based on Bluetooth technology, the LOC.id app searches for suitable apps for the respective situation that are either already installed on the smartphone or available in the app/playstore. A link leads to the direct download.
LOC.id acts as a key for other applications. This is made possible by the initiative of the DBSV, which has created a network from the fields of public transport, indoor/outdoor navigation, traffic signal systems, construction sites and elevators.
