Contents / Description
Artificial intelligence is changing how games can be played — especially for blind and visually impaired people. What is already possible today? And what might be possible soon? Where does using ai open new pathes for accessible gaming and where are its limits? Those questions will be discussed by experts with professional and academic background in ai, gaming and the it branch. The talk will be moderated by Stefan Wilhelm from Inclusive Gaming and ends with a Q&A session.

Stefan Wilhelm (founder, Inclusive Gaming) studied computer science with specialization in ai & cognitive robotics as well as virtual worlds in his master’s. In his company, Inclusive Gaming, he uses ai as a tool to detect visual screen output and turn it into auditive output for blind players (project “AVOS”) as well as auditive world creation.
Florent Weltzer (SightKick) is an entrepreneur working at the intersection of AI and accessibility. He is the founder of SightKick, a computer vision-based application that enables visually impaired people to play traditional board games independently.
