A short seated Qigong form activates the aspects of spring and awakens fresh energy for growth and development. This Qigong form is characterized by its mindful, very easy-to-learn movements and can be understood as a form of moving meditation. Qigong is the traditional Chinese art of activating life energy, which has been used in China for thousands of years to maintain health and self-healing in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). It serves to prevent illness, promote regeneration, and lead to greater mindfulness by sensitizing perception. Qigong translates as energy work. Qi or Chi can be understood as universal life energy. The movements are guided verbally so that everyone can participate. Your own body mechanics and motor skills determine how the exercises are performed. It is perfectly sufficient if the exercises are performed “roughly” as shown in the target image. A positive effect is always achieved. The added value for participants lies in self-awareness and perception training. Simple movements promote health and strengthen a positive attitude towards life. No prior knowledge is required.
