The Gaming Lab at SightCity 2025 is not just for watching – the focus here is on active participation! We cordially invite all visitors to become part of our gaming community and experience the diverse possibilities of accessible gaming for themselves.
Trick tournament – dice luck for everyone!
- When: Throughout all three days of the fair
- Where: Gaming Lab, analogue games area
- Participation: Free of charge, registration on site
Show off your dice luck and tactical skills in the big SightCity dice tournament! The popular dice game is accessible to everyone and offers exciting entertainment for players of all ages.
To win:
- The first SightCity Kniffel cup specially designed by the Maulwurfshügel (deafblind organisation in Hanover)
- An admission voucher for the Dialogue Museum Frankfurt
E-sports tournament: Forza Motorsport in blind mode

Participants: 4 people in the final at SightCity

- DaveGaming (sighted gamer and influencer)
- Two wildcard winners (to be determined in advance)
Application for the wildcards
Application period: 1 – 30 April 2025
Eligibility to participate: Open to all interested parties
Submission requirements:
- A short video (mobile phone recording is sufficient)
- The video shows you playing Forza Motorsport in blind mode
- Brief explanation of your motivation and why you deserve a wildcard
Note: The e-sports tournament will be streamed live and professionally!
To win:
- A trophy designed by the molehill
- A 3-month pass for and from Xbox
- A customised cane branded with Xbox Forza Motorsport
- One free ticket for the Dialogue Museum Frankfurt

Important note for participants in the e-sports tournament
Minimum age: A minimum age of 13 years applies for participation in the e-sports tournament.
For underage participants (13-17 years):
A written declaration of consent from the parent or legal guardian is mandatory. This must include the following points:
- Consent to participate in the e-sports tournament
- Consent to the publication of the application video and tournament recordings on all digital channels of SightCity
- Consent to the presentation of the video during SightCity 2025
- Consent to the mentioning of the name in connection with the tournament
- Consent to the production and publication of photographs and video recordings (right to one’s own image)
Submission of the declaration of consent:
The signed declaration must be uploaded as a PDF document together with the application
The original document must be submitted by post at the request of the organiser
Please note: Applications from minors without the appropriate declaration of consent cannot be considered.

Forza Motorsport Challenge
You couldn’t qualify for the big tournament or just want to test your driving skills? No problem!
You can try out Forza Motorsport in blind mode at our game stations throughout the trade fair. The participant with the best time over all three days of the fair will also receive an attractive prize!
Free play
Of course, the Gaming Lab is not only available for competitions. All visitors are welcome to try out the various digital and analogue games to their heart’s content. Our team will be happy to assist you and explain the accessible functions of the games.
Digital: Discover accessible video games on different platforms with adaptive controllers and assistive technologies.
Analogue: Try tactile board games, card games with Braille markings and other specially developed analogue games.
Please note: Due to the USK approval of some of the digital games presented, this area is only accessible to visitors aged 12 and over. The area with analogue games is available to all age groups without restriction.
