Sharon Maple is an accessible facilitator and expert in accessible participation methods and materials. As a Berliner with British roots, she facilitates online and face-to-face events in German and English with clarity, structure and the goal of genuine participation for all. As a person with an invisible disability, she knows about barriers from her own experience. As a trained barrier scout, moderator and consultant, she brings this knowledge to her work: practical, forward-looking and consistently focused on the needs of the target group. Whether it’s a major event, workshop or strategy process: her barrier-free moderation creates spaces in which everyone is heard and included. Participation methods such as energizers or polls are designed in such a way that everyone can take part. She also checks venues for accessibility and develops inclusive concepts for your event. She creates accessible materials and relies on accessible visualization that appeals to more than just the sense of sight: visual, tactile and auditory elements make content understandable and tangible for everyone. In her workshops, Sharon Maple regularly works with other relevant experts to enable true inclusion: from planning to implementation.
