BIEL GLASSES was born in 2017 from the idea of Jaume Puig and Constanza Lucero (Biel’s parents) to use Robotics, AI and spatial computing to solve the daily challenges of their son.

Our mission is to develop an advanced and affordable solution to improve the autonomy and the independency of the people with Low Vision.

From that moment on we have been working on our first product, BIEL SMARTGAZE, creating a single wearable that combines the lastest technology to detect obstacles that may be dangerous for its users. Through spatial computing and mixed reality, the glasses understand the environment and share this information with the user through visual and audible signs that make them able to preserve autonomy.

Moreover, the glasses also have vision enhancement functionalities such as zoom windows, light adaptation and contrasts. This is adapted to each user’s remaining vision to make the most out of it.

After years of research and work, we have been able to improve our first product. We are now presenting to you our BIEL SMARTGAZE ORA device.

With same technology and functionalities, we have relied on a smaller, neutral and more comfortable design simulating a pair of normal sunglasses.

We believe this move will change the life of Low Vision people and will be a crucial step for most of them.
