ZOOM help for participants
We use Zoom Cloud Meeting as a presentation system both in the forum and for the exhibitor presentations. Here we summarise the most important information for the various systems.

Web browser or Zoom Web Client
With the Zoom Web Client, users can join a meeting via a web browser without having to download plug-ins or software.
Join a Zoom meeting without downloading the app:
- Click on Join .
- Look for the meeting invitation link in your email or calendar invitation.
- Click on the join link to join the meeting.
- In the web browser, a pop-up window prompts you to open or download the application.
- Click Cancel in the pop-up window.
- Click Join from your browser at the bottom of the page.
- You will be redirected to a new page.
- Click Allow to give Zoom authorisation for the microphone and camera.
- Register to join the meeting with your name.
- (Optional) Activate the Remember my name for future meetings checkbox.
Desktop Client
This access applies to both Windows and macOS systems.
- Öffnen Sie den Zoom Desktop Client.
- Treten Sie mit einer der folgenden Methoden einem Meeting bei:
- Wenn Sie ohne Anmeldung beitreten möchten, klicken Sie auf Join a Meeting (Meeting beitreten).
- Wenn Sie einem Meeting mit Anmeldung beitreten möchten:

- Klicken Sie auf Join (Beitreten).
- Geben Sie die Meeting-ID und Ihren Anzeigenamen ein.
- Wenn Sie angemeldet sind, ändern Sie Ihren Namen, wenn nicht Ihr Standardname angezeigt werden soll.
- Wenn Sie nicht angemeldet sind, geben Sie einen Anzeigenamen ein.
- Wählen Sie aus, ob Sie sich mit Audio und/oder Video verbinden möchten.
- Klicken Sie auf Beitreten.

- Open the Zoom mobile app.
- Join a meeting using one of the following methods:
- Tap on Join a Meeting if you want to join without logging in.
- Sign in to Zoom and then tap on Join .
- Enter the Meeting ID and your display name.
- If you are logged in, change your name if you do not want your default name to be displayed.
- If you are not logged in, enter a display name.
- Select whether you want to connect with audio and/or video and tap on Join Meeting (Join Meeting).
Telephone
- Enter the meeting ID using the dialling keypad when prompted.
- On your phone, dial the meeting ID specified in your invitation.

If you are using an iPad with a keyboard, the following keyboard shortcuts are available in a Zoom meeting:
- Command + W: Close the front window, e.g. the window for participant or meeting settings
- Command + Shift + A: Mute/mute deactivate audio
- Command + Shift + V: Start/stop my video
- Command + Shift + H: Show/hide chat
- Command + Shift + M: Minimise meeting
- Command + U: Show/hide participant management
