Introduction: Imagine navigating a world where your vision, hearing, and communication skills are severely limited. Deafblind students face very specific barriers to achieving self-determination and full participation, which are often misunderstood. Our institution is dedicated to providing specialized education and promoting independent living for this community. Join us for an intimate look at the daily routines, unique challenges, and inspiring successes of our deafblind students. In this presentation, we would like to highlight their journey, the barriers they encounter in school life, and the personalized, innovative methods, individually and competence-oriented learning and assistive devices that enable them to lead fulfilling and independent lives.
