Welcome to the Para Judo workshop with Lennart Sass!
On May 28, 2026, you are invited to SightCity to learn about para-judo: In a presentation, Lennart will talk about the sport of judo and his journey to winning a Paralympic medal in Paris. Then it’s time to get hands-on – you can try para-judo for yourself, test out some basic techniques, and get a feel for the movements.

Lennart Sass

Lennart Sass, born in Kiel in 2000, is a German para-judoka (J1, blind). After losing his sight at the age of 16, he returned to judo, winning gold at the 2025 European Championships and bronze at the 2024 Paralympics. He is committed to inclusive sport.
